Intimate Beach Wedding in Malta

Lynn and Mick contacted me to organise their dream intimate wedding in Malta.

I sent them a few venue options and they fell in love with this beautiful beach hotel – Paradise Bay Resort.  They wanted to enjoy a week’s holiday with their guests and say their vows on the beach overlooking Comino.

Lavender is a favourite of the bride so she wanted the theme of the wedding to be lavender based.  The ceremony area was set up with a stunning floral arch and lavender sashes on the chairs.  Saying I do and having photos during sunset was just beautiful.

There was an added surprise of the horse drawn carriage (karrozin).  The groom had contacted me separately to organise this surprise for Lynn.  It was such a lovely thought and she was over the moon.

The reception was supposed to be on the hotel’s Captain’s Deck – a stunning terrace right by the sea but due to high winds we had to relocate to the plan B option.  This actually worked out really well, inside the Porto Restaurant.  Located right next to the beach, with panoramic glass doors and windows, this still gave the feeling of being outside by the sea.  There were covid dancing restrictions in place, but this did not put a dampener on the celebrations.  The party had so much fun with good music.

The cake cutting was done on the beach outside the restaurant.  I set off confetti canons which gave a great effect for the photos.

It was a pleasure to organise an intimate beach wedding in Malta for Lynn & Mick.
