LAKE COMO CASTLE WEDDING
This wedding venue is very close to my heart being where I got married. Since my wedding, I said I wanted to go back and plan weddings there, and here is my first at this magical Lake Como Castle venue. I truly cannot find another venue which offers the romance and luxury this venue does with a BIG WOW factor at such a good price.
When Elkie first contacted me about weddings in Italy, I recommended this venue and she loved it. Elkie & Jordan were keen to visit the venue as soon as possible but due to Covid it was quite some time before they finally got to see their wedding venue. They were not disappointed when they finally did get to visit.
It was a beautiful intimate wedding with 33 guests. Guests were welcomed with a refreshing drink whilst taking in the panoramic views of the lake from the terrace and the vineyards of the castle below. A stunning floral ring from eucalyptus, roses, gypsophila, and olive branches provided the backdrop for the ceremony.
A plentiful aperitif was then served in the courtyard with several food stations for guests to enjoy nibbles along with their drinks.
Dinner was served in the olive garden. Set up on one long wooden table with wooden slice centrepieces and candles providing a rustic feel which worked beautifully in the garden. Perfect for a group of their size.
Once the evening set in, guests enjoyed music and dancing from the DJ, under the magical lighting of the castle and the stars.
Guests were called for the cake cutting and handed sparklers. The Bride and Groom cut the cake and the courtyard was lit up by fireworks, taking guests by surprise. A wonderful show to set off into more fun and dancing.
