PRIVATE ISLAND WEDDING, LAKE GARDA
Imagine hiring your own private island for the day to host your fairytale wedding and WOW your guests as they approach on a private boat. Kaylee and Steven did exactly that!
Kaylee and Steven were my very first booking for my own business. It was three years until we actually arrived in Lake Garda for their wedding due to three Covid-19 postponements. So their wedding was extra special and they partied like true Scottish.
Kaylee first contacted me to enquire regarding venues in Lake Garda, this being one of the venues I sent over. We met in Lake Garda later that year to view venues and they were so amazed with this venue whilst travelling over on the island’s private boat.
The venue speaks for itself but was decorated elegantally and romantically with White, ivory and mixed shades of green
A few blush hints
Gold glass jar candle holders hanging around teh front of the iron rods at the front of the loggia creating a romantic feel.
Guests arrived by their private boat and were welcomed with a refreshing drink before being guided up to the loggia by a Scottish Bagpiper. The bagpiper then came back down to the port ready to welcome the bridal party.
The Bride looked stunning and made a grand entrance from the bridal boat before being escorted up to the loggia in the venue’s buggy. The groom and party, dressed in their kilts waited eagerly in the elegantly set out loggia for the ceremony to begin. STRING MUSICIANS It was quite a windy day and there was a comical moment when Kaylee arrived at the alter and her veil blew off!!
A beautiful ceremony in outstanding surroundings. Guests were then escorted down to the gardens where they enjoyed a lavish aperitif whilst taking in the scenery.
Dinner was set up back in the loggia and speeches were done with the sunset in the background.
The cake cutting was set up on the terrace and looked absolutely stunning with the area lit up in with colourful UV lights setting the mood.
Guests then went down to the dancing marquee by the port which looked magical with beautiful fairy lights. The cocktail bar was open and guests danced until the wee hours to the band.
