SEAVIEW WEDDING, PORTUGAL

Laura & Jordan contacted me whilst they were already in Portugal on a venue finding visit, to arrange some more venue visits for them that week! They saw a few but loved Senhora Da Guia, which was was perfect for their sea view wedding in Portugal.

Due to Covid, their wedding was postponed twice, and the summer dates they originally wanted were not possible meaning they booked their wedding in October. There was a concern regarding the weather not being sunny, but it turned out a beautiful week in Cascais and the wedding day was extremely hot!!

The entire group stayed at the sea view boutique hotel in Cascais the night of the wedding. This was especially handy for getting back to their rooms after the party! They had exclusive use of the villa which is on the grounds of the hotel.

The ceremony was held in the garden of the hotel with amazing sea views, decorated beautifully with a floral arch and the sea as the backdrop. Cocktail drinks followed in the garden of the villa with music played by the DJ, dinner was then inside the amazing sea view restaurant. The cake cutting was held in the garden accompanied by fireworks. Dancing was then enjoyed along with a saxophonist and DJ until the wee hours.

The wedding cake, invitations and wedding favours were all designed with the famous Portuguese tiles theme – the Azulejos.
